its a term coined by a hardcore anti ex friend that has something to do with supporting all non-problematic ships (nothing wrong with the meaning of the term, just the creator and everyone who uses it. ALSO its so fucking ironic becuase the coiner doesnt even support all NON-PROBLEMATIC ships theyre just a hypocrite :p ) aaanyways ty!!! i am cool

Not to be rude, but genuinely curious! How do you manage to cope with com/darpships without glorifying it? Is it like Lolita, where it’s viewed as horror instead of ‘love’?

i'm not quite sure what you mean my "glorifying"? darkshipping helps as a coping mechanism because i may have experienced some of those things irl.. (not exactly comfy talking about my trauma! 
) and seeing my comfort chars in those situations gives me the "assurance" that im not alone.. if that makes sense? and i'm not that educated on lolita because gore makes me uncomfortable and i don't like looking into it so i can't compare it. and back to glorifying it.. im not supporting it irl, if thats what you mean. but if someone wants to enjoy dark media without using it cope, thats also totally fine.
